This book had many chapters filled with different terrifying paranormal/crypto encounters. But these entities/creatures are not the usual ghosts, hauntings, & Bigfoot stories. The beings in these chapters are highly unusual & extremely terrifying. So if you've grown weary with the same old ghost stories, these stories may be just what you need!

I appreciate the author's interest in this subject matter, but it seems that not a lot of effort was put into this book. Too many vague or unreferenced sources – it reads like gossip, not real documentation. The author concludes each chapter before delving too deep into anything. A fun book but not essential reading by any means.
Terrifying read for the . The stories were interesting enough on their own, but collected like they are here and you'll be up late reading each one...and then wishing you hadn't!

I'm a huge fan of the Ghost Adventures and Paranormal State shows and these stories (supposed to be based on real events/people) are just as creepy, if not more!
So far I have loved all of this author's books. I wish that I had read these before I wasted money on some of these other people's books. Very interesting and scary.
Very enjoyable as pick-up reading material. There were a few stories that I have heard before but mostly this was new material for me. Presented in an easy, undramatic style so you can form your own opinions.
I believe in ghost, have a few myself. They follow me and my daughter was seeing them when she was younger. So reading these stories were pretty interesting and ones I am not familiar with. I'd recommend this book to anyone believer or not. It just may change your minds

These stories make me scared to be alone in the house. When I start reading this book, Its hard to put down because the stories are so vivid, and written in great detail. I read a lot of books, and I don't have much time to read, but I find it hard to stop reading these crazy encounters that some people have had with real life entities. True stories like this make me wonder- what is out there that some of us just have not seen yet. There is no way to stay safe. You have to read some of these encounters to know what I mean.
