Oh my…. You know…. I….Hahaha I don’t know how to begin this review since I have a lot to say. A whole lot to say. So how about I just begin like this. Let’s talk about Nyla and Go first and then everything else afterwards.
The things that goes on between Willa and Sawyer is just wow. Sawyer is one of those popular boy in high school. Who used to bully Willa. But it take for him to be a ghost of a sort to realize his wrong doing. And after he deeply apologies to Willa, Willa informs him that he’s not dead, but stuck between the two folds. And that he has to make a choice if he wants to live or pass over.
Should be easy right, well as he’s making that choice he’s also getting along with Willa, and finding more about her. Who would’ve thought the crazy librarian woman daughter can be so attractive. Who is more or less his thoughts.
Willa’s mother Marian can speak and see ghost and spirit. She’s also known for giving books saying a spirit or ghost told her to. Not to mention she spends crazy amount of money on books.
Now Marian sounds like an awesome mom. She loves books and she tries her best to help ghost from both the past and the future. And while everyone else believe her to be crazy. She’s actually truly smart and was a nurse. She really smart that when Grant tried to take some of her land. She study up on some books and sue him and fought him with the help of ghosts to help guide her.
Now if that doesn’t sound like a awesome mother, what will. The only problem with her is that the ghost and spirits priority over her family at times. If a ghost or spirits has any regrets, esp. concerning books she will spend whatever she has to go and help them. Even of her children goes hungry. Which is why Thel and Willa watches her spending. Which has cause them to go hungry more than once.
But they still love their mother. Another thing that I love while reading about Marian is the fact that she sees her daughter lives as a really good book. With a chapter just waiting to be unfold. She always excited when something new is revealed. She makes the book so exciting.
As for Sawyer and Willa I don’t know if I liked him very much. He really was a bully to her. But like my mother use to say to me. That when a boy pulls your hair it means he likes you, and I guess in this case he likes her.
I love how she fights their sexual attention as hard as she could and it took for one little kiss for both of them to fall hard. Even though Willa was trying her best to stay away. Sawyer would not allow her to ignore what is between the two.
I really enjoy this book and if you want in this book is somewhat part of the 50 state Russian series. Even though she doesn’t get with Russians and it’s her sister who does. Willa and Sawyer story also get involve with Thel’s, I believe this would be consider the 4th book of the series. Or a side book but it goes with the Russians series.
Now on to book # 2 and # 3, even though I kind of started both at the same time. I have a really bad habit in starting books out of order. Usually because the expert they leave at the end of the books are for earlier books or later books. Most of the times it’s the later books.

His Everlasting Love 50 Loving States Virginia edition by Theodora Taylor Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I love that Theodora Taylor always brings a good love story, with characters and storylines that are completely and totally unexpected. How does she come up with this stuff?
I read Thel’s story a while ago, and didn’t think I’d be interested in Willa’s story (no idea why). While needing a TT fix, and anxiously awaiting Rafe’s story, I finally decided to check this one out. So glad I did. I must admit that while some of the subject matter left me a little...skittish...the story was a good one. I enjoyed the pacing of the story, and how people and events were gradually revealed. Definitely never a dull moment in this one.
Kudos, Ms. Taylor, on another good read!
By far this has to got to be one of favorite love stories! I could not put this book down. I loved Willa and Sawyer, Kate, Papa, Thel and all of the supporting cast! It is a beautifully written story of reuniting with your one true love where one character knows everything and the other has an unexplained desires that can't be denied and doesn't know why. There is a twist about Trevor, you think know who is being referenced but it is not who you think it is. Spoiler Alert I read one reviewer who revealed the twist but I wouldn't want to ruin your surprise. I love Kate and her cupid match making tricks for Grace and Admiral but she is direct with Willa about Sawyer. At first I thought Thel and Josh might have had something in their past but it wasn't and at the end during the wedding reception we learn something different. Ms. Taylor kept this lovely story focused on Willa, Sawyer and their families.
Mild Spoilers Ahead. All-in-all, His Everlasting Love was an enjoyable read. The author's spin on the paranormal plot and use of an able disabled hero were refreshing and thoroughly appreciated. She did a good job of foreshadowing, which is a skill I rarely find showcased in most of the stories I read these days. The author also, made good use of her supporting cast. Thel's story line added substance and suspense enough to build anticipation for her story without overshadowing Willa and Sawyer's. I don't really have anything negative to say about what I read. It's what I didn't read that made this one a 3.5 star.
The characters were fairly well-developed, but the progression of the relationship and the various tipping points were not. I would have loved a peek into the conversation that led Willa, a reluctant aide, and Sawyer, her former tormentor, to love one another. Without it, I couldn't connect with their connection or enjoy all the bow-tying toward the end. I just wish the story had been a little meatier. But if you're looking for an appetizer or a light dinner sort of story, I would recommend this one.
